CupNoodles Museum Yokohama (カップヌードルミュージアム 横浜) is a museum dedicated to instant noodles and Cup Noodles, as well as its creator and founder, Momofuku Ando. Located at Yokohama , the museum feature four stories of exhibitions and attractions.
Workshops and exhibits galore, this unique museum is the perfect place to spend a couple of hours if you’ve ever enjoyed the cheap and comforting slurp of cup ramen. Learn about its inventor, Momofuku Ando, design your own and sample different the varieties of noodles that came together to make the iconic food.
We went on our first day in Japan and had a great time making our own noodles and exploring the museum! The interactive workshop is so unique. You can design your cup noodle cup and choose broth flavours and toppings. The museum also has a lovely little video about how cup noodles came about and an exhibit showcasing the entire history!
