Forrest Li Xiaodong (李小冬) (born 1977) is the founder and group chief executive officer (CEO) of Sea Limited. Sea was originally an online game developer and publisher named Garena, but Li later branched out to include mobile payments and e-commerce into his company’s scope.
Forrest Li is our founder and has served as the chairman of our company and our chief executive officer since our inception in May 2009. He is a member of the board of directors of the Singapore Economic Development Board, and serves as an independent non-executive director of Shangri-La Asia Limited.
