Melton Mowbray (/ ˈ m ɛ l t ən ˈ m oʊ b r i /) is a town in the Melton district in Leicestershire, England, 19 miles (31 km) north-east of Leicester, and 20 miles (32 km) south-east of Nottingham. It lies on the River Eye, known below Melton as the Wreake. The town had a population of 27,670 in 2019.
Melton is a village in Suffolk, England, located approximately one mile northeast of Woodbridge. The 2001 census recorded a population of 3,718, the population increasing to 3,741 at the 2011 Census. The village is served by Melton railway station on the Ipswich-Lowestoft East Suffolk Line.

Inside, St Mary’s Church is almost entirely from the 13th and 14th centuries, while the Perpendicular Gothic exterior, clear by the castellations, broad clerestory windows and pinnacles, was completed in the 15th century.
