Scott William Arniel (born September 17, 1962) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player who is the head coach for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). Previously, he was the head coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets and associate coach of the New York Rangers, Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets.
Scott Arniel is a former left wing who played 730 games in the NHL for Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins. He also coached in the IHL and AHL before joining the Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Wolves as an assistant coach.

Arniel was named the new head coach of the Jets on Friday, 12 years after his only other time in the role ended with him being fired by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
