Firle Place is situated near Lewes, between Brighton and Eastbourne in East Sussex, on the south coast of England. From London take the M23 and exit onto the A27 towards Eastbourne. The village of Firle is eleven miles from Brighton, four miles after Lewes.
The Department of Wellbeing runs a three-night Bloomsbury Retreat at Tilton House in Sussex three times a year in April, June and September. Next date is April 16-19 2018.
Tilton House is the historic home of John Maynard Keynes, founder of the Arts Council, and member of the Bloomsbury set. We are a short walk from Charlston Farmhouse. We also have a newly decorated 2/3 bedroom self contained Annex with its own sitting room, kitchen and bathroom.
