I don't think it's too awkward in this case, and the meaning is the same. There's an ambiguity in all versions of the sentence, active and passive, with and without an agent: We aren't told whether she tidies her room or not.

Usually a number of travel agents work at a travel agency. In my family, we like a certain travel agency. We ask for a particular travel agent there, but if that person is not available, we see someone else.
