Oct 20, 2016 · @Hellion: That's very interesting! My first thought was awakened sounds rather "dated" to me. But have a look at US/UK differences in this chart. It seems pretty clear that although BrE is adopting OP's versions faster than AmE, your version is still the dominant one on both sides of the pond. –
Feb 27, 2021 · "too soon" can also get used in contexts like "you have awakened me too soon". (e.g. in a famous line from World of Warcraft). So the opposite of "with not enough time left to prepare". Instead in the sense of "kicking things off before I finished preparing", or "before (some other reason it would have been good to wait)". –

Actually "Please be reminded" is used to reiterate a reminder. For instance, if you had mentioned in a previous memo that there would be a company picnic and that there are to be no pets, you can reiterate this closer to the date of the picnic in another memo and state: "Please be reminded that no pets are to be brought to the picnic."
Saying "the alarm clock woke her up" would work just fine, and would imply that she was awakened in such a fashion that she stayed awake thereafter, as distinct from "the alarm clock woke her" which could be true even if she was only awake long enough to swat it before falling back asleep. –
