Feb 5, 2002 · Paradigm was in between the axiom and psb. Not as clear or bright as the axioms but clearer than psb; however, the bass was a little loose on the paradigm imo. At the end I went with the axioms. After break in I don't find them fatiguing at all so the sound is just crystal clear to me and the bass is tight and very accurate.

Another interesting thing is that the gold-plated 5-way binding posts have holes large enough for sizable wire, which isn’t uncommon, and the holes are oval.

Jun 6, 2002 · Browsing the radioshack Canadian site (not exactly audiophile grade stuff I know)and I found these. Merak MT-150. I have heard that Merak is a budget line from Axiom. These speakers look like good performance and at $200 Canadian a pair (for the next week)they seem to good to be true. they seem to shaped well for fitting in a corner.

Sep 13, 2002 · Messages. 143. from my experience, the dahlquists have a *very* different sound from the paradigms. Paradigms being on the brighter side, the dahls being laid back. The difference was severe enough for me to stop considering the dahls due to my preference of the paradigm sound.
