Handmade and natural materials
At Bark River, experts use many natural materials such as different types of wood, horn and various composite materials, as well as different finishing techniques. These materials can differ from knife to knife. The blades are also shaped by hand on sharpening belts. As a result, each knife is unique. Bark River also produces knives in production runs. Convex edges: strop to keep them sharp
Each Bark River knife is given a convex edge. This means the side of the blade smoothly transitions into a razor-sharp edge, with no secondary cutting edge. Bark River Bravo knives are very popular. It is for a reason that Bark River has introduced many different versions within the Bravo collection. From small knives for everyday carry such as the Bravo EDC, to large machetes such as the Bravo Crusader.

The Bark River Bushcrafter was designed as the ultimate bushcraft knife. A nice droppoint blade with a practical edge perfect for bushcraft tasks. It is enhanced with a scandivex grind. This is a combination of the popular scandi grind and Bark River's famous convex grind.

For years, Mike Stewart had been working in the knife business for different famous American companies when he noticed that more and more compromises were made in terms of production. Knives were no longer produced the way he would like them to be. That's why he started his own company together with his wife, Lesley Stewart, in 2001. It's a textboo...
