The JWPS Drama Club takes our members into the world of the Performing Arts and seeks to inspire creativity and unleash the potential of budding writers and thespians. From script-writing to oratory skills to prop-making, members will draw on the experience of others and tap on vivid imagination to prepare and perform skits.
The Drama Club fosters a vibrant environment where creativity and collaboration thrive. Students engage in various theatrical activities, from acting to scriptwriting, enhancing their artistic skills while building lasting friendships.
In the Drama Club, members are given the opportunity to act, improvise, apply and hone their acting skills by employing different drama techniques. At the beginner level, members learn the fundamentals of speech and drama through building good posture, voice projection and vocal expression.
The Drama Club was formed in 2013. Currently, there are 15 members from Primary 4 to 6. The club aims to equip members with acting skills and provide them with the opportunities to showcase the skills they have learnt through various competitions and performances.
