ABOUT THE FAR EAST. The Far East is the easternmost part of Russia. The macro-region borders two oceans, the Pacific and the Arctic, and five countries (China, Japan, Mongolia, the United States and the DPRK). The Far Eastern region spreads over four time zones and various climate zones: from northern deserts to subtropics.
All 11 regions of the Far Eastern Federal District will showcase their best projects, featuring a vibrant cultural programme, unique handicrafts, and original cuisine at the ‘Far East Street’ exhibition. Far East Street will also feature: ‘Developing the Far East’ – the pavilion of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation.

Aug 1, 2024 · Sakhalin Region will again participate in the ‘Far East Street’ exhibition, scheduled to take place on 3–8 September as part of the Eastern Economic Forum 2024 in Vladivostok. The exhibition is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Office of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.
