Mallow (/ ˈ m æ l oʊ /; Irish: Mala) is a town in County Cork, Ireland, approximately thirty-five kilometres north of Cork. Mallow is in the barony of Fermoy . It is the administrative centre of north County Cork, and the Northern Divisional Offices of Cork County Council are located in the town.

Mallow ( Magh Eala, "place of the stone") is a town in County Cork with a population of 12,459 in 2016. It's a market and light industrial town best known for its racecourse, and as the place you get stuck if you miss your rail connection to Killarney. Jul 10, 2018 · Mallow, the ‘Crossroads of Munster’, is a town rich in history. An important spa town in the 18 th and 19 th centuries visitors can still view the old Spa House and other historical buildings such as the old Mallow Castle at the centre of the town on the banks of the Blackwater.
