Jul 15, 2021 · I’ve created a route in Scenic. I plan to navigate using Scenic. The others on my trip are all using the google maps app /my maps. They downloaded my Scenic gpx file and loaded it in google my maps successfully and it plotted what I believe is the same route. They all plan to ride using that google my map feature
May 29, 2024 · To test this, I edited the Scenic route, added more via points thru city A, resaved it, re-exported it to Garmin Drive then to the Zumo. This step then forced the Zumo to follow the Scenic path. Ah, ok - I see now how I can make the Zumo route match the Scenic route.
Jun 23, 2020 · - Alternatively, tap the start button with the route and the default ‘guidance to start’. Then, when in navigation mode, move the map a little bit so you’ll go to edit mode. Now you can add a via point (to force the route away from the highway) by tapping on the map where you want to place the via point.
Saving the blue line (the original track from the GPX) as a track in Scenic has a disadvantage. Routes (the magenta/red line) have turn by turn and voice instructions during navigation. Tracks (the blue line during import) have ‘follow the line’ navigation only. This means that the line is drawn on the map for you to visually follow.
Yep. Scenic runs on M1 Mac. There are still some minor things that don’t work but most of it works. You should be able to import and make corrections. Also understand the remark/request for webapp route planning. Scenic 3 should already decrease the number of differences, but still planning to add a webapp route planner.
