Apr 9, 2022 · Shipper sends shipment data but does not ship the package on that date. Weather delays during shipment (remember Ground moves everything by rail or tractor trailer, not by plane). Too many packages in the network exceeding capacity can cause a delay. A shipping network as complex as FedEx can have all kinds of issues that can lead to delays.
Jan 28, 2022 · Lmao this mf really asking why we want GPS tracking. You makes sense for fedex ground... but I'm overnighting a package. Grubhub, Instacart, Uber Eats, Lyft, Walmart, Amazon Prime and UPS all have this feature, yet the Express focused Fedex Express doesn't. All those are gig workers except for Prime and UPS.

Dispatch can see in real time where drivers are, managers can call dispatch whenever they wish to get updates—locations, how many stops a driver has left, etc. if your package has a senseaware then it tracks the package in real time also. There are also cameras on each truck.
Jul 29, 2021 · Yes, this is very doable with zero VBA. FedEx provides a web API that Power Query can call. The API returns the tracking data in JSON format, which Power Query can consume, format and load to either the spreadsheet, Power Pivot data model or Power BI.
Mar 6, 2018 · It’s a long and expensive process but fedex is making improvements. From a drivers perspective, they gotta move fast. They don’t have time to stop and chat, if you want your shipping costs to be affordable then get used to not seeing your driver. One of purposes of this sub is to help customers out and answer questions.
Finally Happened. My package tracking showed the package arrived at the nearest Fed ex facility early on the 20th. Showed it "out for delivery" since later that afternoon all the way through until this morning, the 26th. Checked tracking at lunch time and it said that it was delivered-on April 20th. Um, nope.
FedEx tracking has confused the hell out of me. As I commented earlier, I called at around 13:00 asking what was up with the package, they said it would be delayed and I might get it tomorrow. At 14:00, I got an e-mail telling me to expect delivery between 09:20 and 12:30 and listed the package as on vehicle for delivery.

How accurate is FedEx tracking? Ask FedEx.
