Our Story 我们的故事. Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery (KMSPKS) is a spiritual sanctuary in urban Singapore where one can learn the Buddha’s teachings of wisdom and compassion; practise mindfulness; develop gratitude and bring happiness to all.
It was the first traditional Chinese monastery to be built in Singapore. Since Phor Kark See Monastery is situated at Kong Meng San ("Bright Hill", formerly "Hai Nan Mountain"), it has come to be known as "Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery".
Daily: 8am – 4pm | 每天开放 早上8时至下午4时. The Hall of Universal Brightness houses three Buddha statues, symbolising the Buddhas of the past, present and future.
