I now find that after a confirmed 41 full years of National Insurance contributions that my state pension, due in September, is to be reduced by over £30 per week due to being contracted out while in Barclays employment.

Apr 1, 2016 · Yes, Barclays should be able to get the copy ledgers for you. It's a flat charge of £5 unless you can convince them to waive the fee. They can sometimes produce them in branch for you, or else they'll be sent in the post to you.

Dec 22, 2022 · And, if that weren't enough, Appendix 1, section 7 of the Barclays 1964 scheme rules explicitly rules it out. The only exceptions it cites are sections 37A and 41A-E of the 1975 act. (These are actually labeled "37(1) & 41(1-5)" in the Act itself; just to add to the confusion).
