Original Post. May 2023 - last edited June 2023 by EA_Shepard. I installed the EA app since orgin is phased out. I cannot get the EA app to load. I keep getting EC:104 then I say restart app and it just stays on the restarting app screen. (cm edit - updating thread title) 127 people had this problem.

The EA app has been integrated with Steam and Epic Games! When you launch an EA title through either of those clients, the EA app may launch alongside it in order to run the game. Troubleshooting. The EA app won't launch no matter what. Please attempt a full restart of the application.

Accepted Solution. Hey @in54ne71, The EA app should locate the same install location you'd used in Origin and just verify your game files rather than installing everything from scratch. If you had changed your install location in Origin, I would just be sure to do the same after launching the EA app by clicking the menu option in the top-left ...
