SINGAPORE PRIMARY SCHOOLS SPORTS COUNCIL WUSHU RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR NATIONAL SCHOOL GAMES 2023 PREAMBLE This document outlines the rules and regulations for the conduct of and participation in the National School Games (NSG). This is subject to possible changes in prevailing national posture.
National Primary Schools Wushu Championship. Wushu members will practise on the basics (flexibility split kicks, horse stances) every training session. Building the stamina and perseverance through an hour of warm-up at the start of the training helps to perform their routines well.

We aim to: Help students gain a better understanding and appreciation towards Wushu. Foster team building and cohesion by providing opportunities for students to work as a team. Provide opportunities for students to develop their leadership potential and abilities.
Wushu (武术) is a form of contemporary Chinese martial arts that blends elements of performance and martial application. Wushu training emphasises quickness, explosive power, natural and relaxed movement.
