Mar 20, 2024 · The estimates of brain source activity are derived via a linear recombination of sensor recordings. Brainstorm therefore computes a kernel ("a large matrix") conveniently stored in the database and that can be multiplied with sensor data arrays to obtain source time series, at specific brain locations, or across the entire brain.
