  4. We used to do a lot of rear axle work (shortening, conversions etc) & my recorded diff width, face to face for all HK/T/G is 1537 mm.   8. Holden recommend a 10W-30 in SG, SH, SJ or later spec. They do say you can use 15W-40 or 20W-50 if stuck. I have heard lots of problems with LS1's and Mobil 1 5W-50 and even the newer 10W-30 version. Some people have reported good things about Castrol EDGE 5W-30. I've normally used Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 but not in the Monaro yet.

The main difference is one has a closed chamber for the high comp engine and one is a 202/3.3 head for the low comp v.

  10. In a Holden the fan will sit over basically behind and to the left of the radio. The two vents pointing downwards do the passenger's floor. The two smaller ones at the top you plumb to the windscreen vents (blank one if onely using one). The three bigger ones go to your face level outlets.
