I think since the first fight Islam has become more of an elite fight through fighting better comp and the championship experience. And I think the winner or Olivera/Chandler lines up for a title fight later in the year.

It’s directly towards Makhachev, people on here calling him weight bully 200+lbs!!!, a IV cheat, how he only fights in Abu Dhabi(fought only 3x) and 11x outside of the UAE. Nov 23, 2013 · Well Islam grew up training with Khabib under his father. And in Dagestan, they tend to cross train a lot before specializing. While Khabib has put on Judo clinics and there are photos of him wearing his black belt...so I would imagine the same for Islam holding the same rank. However, their major titles come from Sambo.

Sep 29, 2024 · Islam is a pleasure to watch but the dude rarely fights. His average fights per year in a near 10 year UFC career is quite low, just like Khabib. If this is the Armen rematch, we'll at least get the right fight for history.
