Dec 2, 2022 · So, I burned the midnight oil to find the best late night restaurants and cafes for when your stomach is growling at the moon. Here they are in no particular order (but with the reasons why they made my list). 1. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Marine Cove) For an island, Singapore has surprisingly few all night cafes by the sea.
- Zamas River Valley Restaurant. How late? Open 24 hours. Even though this restaurant is constantly packed, you can still head down and get a table when the 2am hunger pang hits.
- Char-Grill Bar Holland Village. How late? Until 3 am. If you’re craving flame-grilled western delights that will make your mouth water, Char-Grill Bar at Holland Village won’t let you down.
- The Roti Prata House. How late? Until 2 am. Hidden within a row of shophouses, this prata joint is one of Upper Thomson Road‘s most long-standing supper spots.
- Coffee Smith. How late? Open 24 hours. Feeling peckish after drinks in the wee hours of the morning? Draft beers, coffee cocktails and herb teas aside, Coffee Smith has outlets all around Singapore that offer all-day breakfast.
- Gloria Jean’s Coffees West Coast Plaza. ICYMI, beloved coffee chain Gloria Jean’s Coffees has returned to Singapore, and they’ve also converted their West Coast Plaza outlet to operate round-the-clock—take note, Westies, and those looking for a cafe to study at.
- Jen’s Kitchen On The Go. Image credit: @ze_boe. Located right in the city at the lobby of Hotel Jen Tanglin, Jen’s Kitchen on the Go is unlike any hotel cafe, with retro vibes and cute bicycle decors to match.
- Salted Caramel. If coffee is not your cup of tea, go grab some ice cream instead. Salted Caramel serves toothsome ice cream with waffles, making for the perfect comfort food at night.
- My Awesome Cafe. A chic industrial cafe situated at the heart of Telok Ayer, My Awesome Cafe is the place to go for some perk-me-up coffee whenever you OT.
- Acid Bar & Restaurant – Open till 2am on weekends. Image credit: Acid Bar & Restaurant. Finding a place to hang out after shops close is a real struggle, especially if you still have lots to catch up on.

- Barbary Coast – Opulent Bridgerton-like bar. Image credit: Barbary Coast. Now if you think only ratchet places open till late, Barbary Coast’s gonna prove you wrong.
- Parliament Bar – Retro American themed bar. Everything is lit by a soft neon glow. Image credit: @parliament.sg via Instagram. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a grungy American dive bar at Parliament Bar – David Bowie posters, Fender guitars, disco balls, and retro booths included.
- Hao Lai Wu – Steamboat and BBQ till 3am (from $21.80) No more bickering with the squad over BBQ or steamboat: Hao Lai Wu has both, along with a vast selection of fresh ingredients.
- Al Jasra Restaurant – 24-hour prata buffet (from $7.90) Prata is like the Swiss army knife of Singaporean food – good for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper.
- Korean Fusion BBQ – KBBQ till 2am (from $25.40) When we think Korean, we think K-pop or K-drama. But your tummy’s probably more familiar with K-BBQ – and that’s what you’ll find at Korean Fusion BBQ.
- Aroy Jing Jing – Thai Seafood Buffet till 1am (from $29.90) If there’s anything better than seafood, it’s unlimited seafood. And that’s what you’ll find at Aroy Jing Jing for $29.90.
