Plot. In eastern Siberia 's Dzhugdzhur Mountains, Dieter Von Cunth and his men take control of a nuclear X-5 warhead. In Ecuador, Col. Jim Faith and Lt. Dixon Piper are searching for former Green Beret, Navy SEAL and Army Ranger MacGruber. Finding him meditating in a chapel, they ask him to retrieve the warhead.
MacGruber: Directed by Jorma Taccone. With Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillippe, Val Kilmer. Former special operative MacGruber is called back into action to take down his arch-enemy, Dieter Von Cunth, who's in possession of a nuclear warhead and bent on destroying Washington, D.C.

MacGruber is an action comedy TV series based on the SNL sketch and film of the same name, starring Will Forte as a parody of MacGyver. The series follows MacGruber's mission to rescue the president's daughter from a villain he wronged in the past, with the help of his old colleagues and enemies.
Creation. The character of MacGruber was created by SNL writer Jorma Taccone. The sketches are written by Forte, Taccone and John Solomon and directed by Taccone, except for the March 2008 and May 2008 installments, which were directed by Solomon.
