Jul 23, 2024 · There are plenty of great attractions to visit in New Braunfels but if you have limited time on your hands, we recommend you visit New Braunfels Historic Railroad and Modelers Society, Schlitterbahn, Landa Park, the McKenna Children’s Museum, Winery on the Gruene, and Gruene Historic District.

Jun 4, 2024 · Downtown New Braunfels, Texas, is the charming little historic district in the center of town. It's best explored on foot (because it's very small...just a few streets.) The area is home to so many adorable shops, restaurants, and theaters. It's the perfect destination for locals and visitors alike.
We stayed in New Braunfels for a long weekend. Visited Guadalupe River State Park, Gruene, San Marcos, Driftwood and two of the New Braunfels city parks. Plenty of outdoor stuff to do here. Day trips in all directions as well.
