Mariagerfjord Kommune ligger i sydøstlige del af Himmerland under Region Nordjylland. Kommunen har ca. 41.000 indbyggere hvis største byer er Hobro, Hadsund, Arden og Mariager.

Am 1. Januar 2007 ist die Mariagerfjord Kommune im Zuge der Kommunalreform als neue dänische Kommune am Mariagerfjord entstanden. Sie entstand aus den früheren Kommunen Arden, Hadsund und Hobro im Nordjyllands Amt sowie Mariager im Århus Amt.
