OP's screenshot is a pretty normal Russia game though, hardly anything insane when you are breezing through 1/1/1 steppe land. I believe you are referring to the starting event and that gives you 1 diplomat and %15 ccr, not 20.

The whole reason they decided to invade Ukraine was to restore their status as a great power and expand their influence into Europe. If they lose, Russia will be absolutely humiliated and Putin’s regime will most likely collapse.
Jan 24, 2024 · Russia will always go as far as they possibly can. This is why negotiations are pointless because all they understand are strength and violence. Trying to figure out some "deeper" motives or reasoning is a waste of time when all that is needed, and the only thing that will be understood, is a big stick and the knowledge that it will be used if needed.
