Okay - so this is interesting considering we talk about “nepo-babies” all the time, yet Samara Weaving is a great example of someone born into a family with connections who has talent, yet still hasn’t reached “stardom”. If you look at her filmography and career journey the last 15 years, it’s really impressive.

  9. Apr 12, 2022 · A year or two later comes Samara Weaving to Home and Away. I don’t think it was a coincidence. Samara Weaving is gorgeous and her uncle is Hugo Weaving so she probably always could have had some success, but the network she was on (Seven) is pretty trashy and shameless so I wouldn’t put it past them to push her to crib on Margot Robbie’s success.

  10. While watching it I felt that the filmmakers wanted to have Samara Weaving killing off the psycho family, one at a time, as they found her. At least, that's the vibe the advertising gave off. But they also wanted to have all or most of the psycho family alive for the ending.
