Incidentally, Swansea is often voted to have amongst the best for student experiences so you're obviously missing out on a lot. The library: The main issue is the amount of people there to hang out, eat, and watch youtube or facebook on the limited computers instead of actually 'work' in the 'library'.

9 years ago. A. donutaud15. Swansea uni is generally great. Lots of decent societies, great facilities and it's near the beach (like literally just across the beach) The people are very friendly. There are some chavvy areas but you can always avoid it.

Swansea had an awesome nightlife, most people go clubbing at least once a week in 1st year, some every day (not recommended!) Alcohol is dirt cheap, there's tons of pubs and clubs, and a great atmosphere. I might be starting Swansea September (2nd choice) but heard the su is pretty decent!
