That young man, Walter Tevis, wrote a book in 1959 entitled "The Hustler", of which a motion picture was made in 1961, starring Paul Newman, Jackie Gleason, Piper Laurie, and George C. Scott.

Jan 15, 2019 · This cue builder sounds like he has fell into the same trap many do, he is living on "borrowed money". They take bigger deposits than materials justify, even materials and labor. Then this money is spent before the cue is ready, all of it. They keep right on taking orders for more cues with deposits they need to keep operating and keep eating.
