Also, keep in mind to not let win/loss (the outcome of any matches or the tournament) getting into your mind during the tournament. Have a good night sleep. If time permitted, have a good warm-up on the day of tournament, preferably just before your match.

Jan 23, 2019 · Just before the tournament begin, there is a Team Managers meeting (technical meeting) which all team managers must attend. They gathered the last updated issue regarding the tournament, including if there are some late withdraw for any reason. Then, the draw itself is being updated again post technical meeting.

Nov 18, 2018 · On the day of the tournament normally, I would try to spend half an hour after a stretching session with a hitting partner before competition starts to get my feel of the shuttle going, keep the touch shots and activate my leg muscles. Today, I have a tournament and my preparation has been really bad.
Aug 6, 2013 · I don't understand your problem. I never heard about a low level tournament of a club which provides feather shuttles. You can solve the problem, if you write in the announcement that everybody must bring their own shuttles. No normal club can provide shuttles for a tournament. But I seems that you are immune to suggestions.
Jun 18, 2005 · One particular tournament caught my eyes. It reads American Tournament. I went to ask one of the committee members of the club to explain the format and this is how it goes: You and the other players names will be drawn and will be paired together to play against other pairs.
Dec 30, 2018 · The automatic tournament planner in there is pretty bad (doesn't account for breaks all too well with people who play multiple disciplines single/double/mix, despite having some settings for amount of breaks (we usually play everyone two rounds and then a break round)) and leaves a lot of open rounds.
