I think that everything was allright after reboot, as I now realize that when there is no red exclamation mark on the Creative Cloud icon, pressing the icon just takes you the Creative Cloud. I now realize the status messages regarding sync problems etc. are shown besides the icon only when there is a problem.

Feb 12, 2018 · To log into Creative Cloud Packager you can use any valid Adobe ID. It does not need to have any entitlement or be attached to an account. If you are the admin of an Admin Console it can be useful to use the same credentials because then details of your packages will be recorded on the Admin Console.

Dec 26, 2017 · For Adobe CC, not just Acrobat: In persistent VDI desktops it should work fine. Install normally. In non-persistent VDI desktops you will lose activation between logins... roaming the user profile doesn't seem to help (unless someone has experience otherwise with what to roam and what not to roam) due to changing machines.
Jul 2, 2017 · After an update my Adobe Creative Cloud no longer has an icon and I can't access it anywhere, although I see it in my install/uninstall programs. Do I need to uninstall/re-install Adobe Creative Cloud? And if so, will it also uninstall/re-install Photoshop and Lightroom? Your help is greatly appreciated. Sharon
