We've just opened a new Skipton one, and when I was transferring money from HBOS to Skipton, the sort code came up as Barclays Bank plc in the app. Does Skipton share a sort code with Barclays, or does Barclays own them? All the searching I've done say they don't own them.
Apr 1, 2016 · You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe. Yes, Barclays should be able to get the copy ledgers for you. It's a flat charge of £5 unless you can convince them to waive the fee. They can sometimes produce them in branch for you, or else they'll be sent in the post to you.

Jul 8, 2022 · Apparently there are two types: overpayment and part redemption. The overpayment is limited to 3x the monthly repayment amount and goes towards reducing the term. If it is a statement from the mortgage the bank should keep records 6 years after the mortgage was settled so if its still active or was paid off in the last 6 years then he may be able to get it.
Dec 22, 2022 · And, if that weren't enough, Appendix 1, section 7 of the Barclays 1964 scheme rules explicitly rules it out. The only exceptions it cites are sections 37A and 41A-E of the 1975 act. (These are actually labeled "37(1) & 41(1-5)" in the Act itself; just to add to the confusion).
