Overview. What are the SHG funds? SHGs were set up to uplift low-income households and the less privileged, in the Chinese, Eurasian, Muslim, and Indian communities in Singapore. The CPF Board collects SHG contributions on behalf of the SHGs. You’re expected to deduct SHG contributions from your employees’ wages.
The employer can stop the CDAC contribution of the employee immediately after the Opt-Out Form is sent out. A copy of the Opt-Out Form should be filed by the employer for record. No acknowledgement will be given by CDAC upon receipt of the Opt-Out Form.
