Sure. Chromium is bad for privacy, for one thing. I've experienced loads of annoying graphical artifacts when watching YouTube on Edge, which is a common Chromium bug that only occurs with NVIDIA GPUs, and it still hasn't been fixed. It happens in Discord's client as well because it also runs on Chromium.

I use the browser version of Discord. I would like someone to give me some pros and cons of each. I especially wish to know if one is slower than the other, and if one slows down your pc more than the other.

Doesn't hurt to try, and it may fix your problem. Change your DNS resolver. Some DNS resolvers can block certain sites or are unreliable.
Feb 3, 2022 · Had to open via browser. apparently a new toggle in the settings for BD was added: Settings -> BetterDiscord -> Developer Settings -> DevTools. In the desktop app, press Ctrl-R (yes this reloads Discord, so don't do it during VC) and quickly press Ctrl-Shift-I before the app script has a chance to disable it.
