Jul 7, 2015 · I am arriving in Jakarta on the 21st of July at 15:40. The plan is to fly directly to Yogyakarta, where we plan on doing a couple of tours. I am fully aware that it is the holidays down there and everyone is travelling and everything is crowded (the reason why I want to order as much as possible already). Not much I can do about that.

Some Blue Bird taxis do have credit card facilities, but always be sure to check before travelling that they are available/working. In general, you do not want to rely on them having such facilities are they are few and far between.

Dec 23, 2023 · Probably not the most accessible, language-wise, though. I don't do guided tours, and tend to explore on my own. The airport is on the northern side of the island. On the southwest side is Xiamen University, Zhongshan Pedestrian street and the ferry to Gulangyu island. This could fill the 7 hours or so you have out of a 10-hour layover.
