I've sort of inherited the role of programming our various Mazaks from one of our engineers who left, and he used a lot of ISO subprograms, called within the Mazatrol program.

IN 718 is sususceptible to galling. Though you can not Nitride 718, there are other surface modification such as Boronizing and Aluminizing that will provide a gall resistant layer at the surface.

  6. Apr 1, 2009 · What I'd like to do is have that program activate automatically when a component arrives in a hopper. I know this can be done using Robot Service Requests (RSR), but I can't get it to work. I have proximity sensor on the hopper that sends a signal when a part is present. The sensor works, and I can see that a signal is recieved by the robot.

To the best of my knowledge there is no provision in the N.D.S. that requires wood columns to be designed assuming a minimum eccentricity, as was required with concrete sometime in the past. 271828 is correct it is a matter of engineering judgement. Sep 26, 2000 · Yes; it would appear that assuming the temperature of the water bath is kept constant and the approximate dimensions of your ingots are such that the bootom face lenghth is twice the width and the hight is 4x said width, and the ingots are pure aluminum, then your cooling time; to bring the ingot temperature down from 450 deg C to 50 deg C would be on the order of 347s or 5.78 minutes.

  10. May 17, 2004 · Mazak's own CamWARE software won't support exporting to G Code from M640MT and they have no plans to implement it. Or alternatively; is there a way to convert M640MT mazatrol to another version of Mazatrol, and then convert to G code from there? This is a really annoying limitation for us here, so any get-arounds much appreciated.
