Carmine Valentino Coppola (Italian: [ˈkarmine ˈkɔppola]; June 11, 1910 – April 26, 1991) was an American composer, flautist, pianist, and songwriter who contributed original music to the films The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, Apocalypse Now, The Outsiders, and The Godfather Part III, all directed by his son Francis Ford Coppola.
Carmine Coppola (1910-1991) was a versatile musician who composed, conducted and performed for various films and TV shows. He was the father of Francis Ford Coppola and Talia Shire, and won an Oscar for his work on The Godfather Part II.
