Nov 8, 2023 · Basically, Avi Arad is a big producer for nearly all of the Spider-Man movies from Sony. The specific grudge Raimi fans have against him is that he insisted on Raimi including Venom in SM3 when AFAIK he was only interested in using Sandman and Harry on top of just not being very interested in Venom as a character.
