Siegfried Rauch (2 April 1932 – 11 March 2018) was a German film and television actor. In a career spanning over 60 years, he appeared in several international film productions and had leading roles in numerous German television productions.

From 1999 to 2013, Rauch took on one of the main roles as Captain "Fred Paulsen" in the ZDF series "Das Traumschiff". In 2016 he was appointed ambassador for Bavarian Lake Shipping. The nature-loving actor lives in a farmhouse in Obersöching, Bavaria.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the German died as a result of a fall at his home in Bavaria.
A German actor best known for his role in Le Mans (1971), Rauch starred as the ruthless rival to Steve McQueen’s racing driver in the classic film. He also appeared in a number of war films including Patton (1970), The Eagle Has Landed (1976) and The Big Red One (1980).
