  3. Visiting Caius. The College is closed to general visitors on weekdays during term. Members and others with business in the College will still be able to access the College via the Porters’ Lodge, but please arrange visits in advance. Prospective applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate study are very welcome to visit the College at any time.

Caius postgraduate houses are mainly located together in our Harvey Road campus, just a short bike ride from the main College site and convenient for many departments including the world-famous biomedical campus on the Addenbrooke's site. Gonville & Caius has a magnificent Library which serves both the needs of the College community and the research interests of scholars from all over the world. Since 1996 it has been housed in the 19th-century Grade 1 listed Cockerell Building, originally the University Library.

Gonville and Caius is one of the wealthiest of all Cambridge colleges with an endowment of £221 million in 2018. The college's present 43rd Master, appointed in 2018, is Pippa Rogerson.

  7. The College’s vibrant community comprises of around 850 undergraduates and graduate students, 110 Fellows and academic staff, and almost 200 staff members. Our students come from all over the world and our undergraduates study all the subjects offered in the University. Our postgraduates play a vital role in the research activities of the wider University.
