  4. you can say that again. sporadically hilarious, but often feels lazy. merely pointing out the obvious tropes of romantic comedies isn't enough, you have to do something with them. when Wain does, it's great, but i infinitely prefer the likes of Wanderlust, where he has real scenarios against which to play the absurdism. tell me about it.
