Jun 29, 2022 · 1. Cedar Bridge. The original Cedar Bridge was built in 1883 by Benson Jones and is the shortest of the covered bridges of Madison county, being 76 feet long. The bridge was originally built over the North River (known originally as Casper Bridge) but it was later to moved to Cedar Creek.

Jun 2, 1995 · A bit too cheesy for me to overly enjoy, but 'The Bridges of Madison County' is a sweet romantic drama. Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep are a strong pairing and produce very good performances, with Streep particularly standing out... even if her acting Italian doesn't always feel convincing, to me anyway.
