Derek Yee's great direction makes the movie look top-notch. We get to see some wonderful shots of Mongkok, of which those at night are especially beautiful. The lighting is also very well done and reminds us of "PTU". Actually, in terms of cinematography "One Nite in Mongkok" can best be described as a mixture of "PTU" and "Infernal Affairs".
