At first Freeheld does come across as a little clunky, the dialogue is a bit stilted and awkward, the pace doesn’t flow smoothly and there’s just something a little “off” about it, however, once it gets a bit of steam behind it then it really comes into its own and becomes a great film, and by the end it has completely redeemed itself of its clumsy beginning.
