Answer: it’s a bad film. Granted, Mike Nichols’ previous film before The Fourtne was The Day of the Dolphin, a film that literally has a talking dolphin being abducted by Soviets to be used for evil. No. Joke. So, in comparison, The Fortune is, thankfully, not a cringeworthy film.
