Paul Vincent Raven (16 January 1961 – 20 October 2007) was an English bassist best known for his work in the post-punk group Killing Joke. He later played in the industrial music bands Prong, Ministry, and Zilch.

Killing Joke are an English rock band formed in Cheltenham, England, in 1979 by Jaz Coleman (vocals, keyboards), Paul Ferguson (drums), Geordie Walker (guitar) and Youth (bass). Their first album, Killing Joke, was released in 1980. After the release of Revelations in 1982, bassist Youth was replaced by Paul Raven.

Former Killing Joke bass player Paul Raven has passed away in his sleep in the early hours of Saturday October 20th. As well as his work with Killing Joke Paul was deeply involved in music and played with a number of other acts including Ministry, Godflesh and Pigface.
