Flower Dome is an awe-inspiring part of Gardens by the Bay, an iconic part of Singapore’s heritage and one of Singapore’s most popular tourist destinations. The dome is in fact, one of the world’s biggest air-conditioned greenhouse.
Its waterfront gardens (Bay South, Bay East, and Bay Central) and Conservatories (the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest), as well as Floral Fantasy and the Supertree Observatory, feature some of the most incredible man-made structures built to house flora and fauna from all over the world.
Nov 1, 2015 · The Flower Dome, located within Gardens by the Bay, houses a variety of tree and flower species, meticulously arranged and planted in a uniquely designed dome. Each plant is carefully separated and categorized by its region of origin, with each section decorated with really cool sculptures.
The Flower Dome replicates the cool-dry climate of Mediterranean regions like South Africa, California and parts of Spain and Italy. Home to a collection of plants from deserts all over the world, it showcases the adaptations of plants to arid environments.
From now until April 21, head to the Flower Dome to view more than 140 blooming cherry blossom trees of over 40 varieties, all set in a tranquil garden landscape.

The Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay is a giant glass building with many different plants and gardens inside. It’s one of the biggest in the world! You can travel to different parts of the world without leaving the Dome because each section has a different climate and environment. It’s like going on an adventure all in one place!
