Jun 28, 2024 · DiPietro may be more known for his remarkable 15-year contract he signed in 2006 for $67.5 million. It was, and is, one of the longest contracts in North American sports history. Despite not playing since 2013, DiPietro is still paid $1.5 million every year until the end of the 2028-2029 season as part of a buyout agreement.
