Blue Sky studios is the studio that produced movies like Ice Age (1 and 2), Rio (1 and 2) and Robots. In 2021 it was closed as Disney essentially took over the studios. Both the Ice Age and Rio movies have been added to since being taken over by Disney.

Yet the studio became victim to both a major corporate acquisition and cost-cutting efforts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On April 10, 2021, the studio officially closed.
