Kartal Tibet (27 March 1939 – 1 July 2021 [1]) was a Turkish actor, director, screenwriter and producer. A prominent lead actor of classic films in the Turkish cinema, he has played a wide range of characters in various genres, including drama, comedy in around 120 films and 30 theatre plays.
Kartal Tibet was born on 27 March 1939 in Ankara, Turkey. He was a director and actor, known for Sabaniye (1984), Tarkan (1969) and Turks in Space (2006). He died on 1 July 2021 in Istanbul, Turkey.
